Dr. Jeffrey Fine
Gastroenterologist
Food Sensitivity Specialist

Dr. Jeffrey Fine is a board certified gastroenterologist with 22 years of medical experience. His interest in food hypersensitivity began many years ago when he became acutely aware that many of his patients were not feeling better on a consistent basis with traditional drug therapies. Dr. Fine heard from many of his patients that certain food interactions made their symptoms worse or intolerable. So Dr. Fine began studying the correlation between the digestion of food ingredients, i.e., gluten, wheat, barley, dairy, eggs, etc. and gastrointestinal disease.

After years of exploring this connection and accepting that foods can have an impact on your health, Dr. Fine discovered several laboratories that test patients for food hypersensitivities. These labs provide food antigen testing either through a variety of blood tests or stool samplings.

Through the utilization of these labs, Dr. Fine is able to test his patients and create a unique and personalized treatment plan, which includes food elimination and rotational diets.

In addition to using conventional therapies, Dr. Fine’s private practice offers a unique and integrative approach to treating many gastrointestinal disorders.
